the good thing (among other) about torrent is that you can stop downloading and continue another time without loosing any data. or you can try to use some download manager and download part 2 (from that link above) without loosing data even when you will download it with breaks.

note : u might have another problem after u download all of them. the "part" installer is corrupt, and u must download the "full" installer from beginning. better if u start the "full installer" from now.

I still cant play the game, i did the download by the parts of 4 of them 3 bins and one setup, then i installed and it was ok, i signed to the game with mail, name and pass, this was ok either, then when i try to play the game i pressed play and it was a pop up window saying about the webzen auto installer, well here starts the prob, in mozzila we press to install and nothing happens, in explorer we press to install and it instal but after i restarted the browser, restarted the PC it keep asking again to install the program not allowing me to actually play the game....

maybe those who have problems with downloading/unpacking/installing/incorrect client etc. could give a shot to this.

create some folder, download these 2 files and place them to that new folder.

when you open launcher you'll probably get error: Library Load Failed so just click OK and log in when launcher appears. patching should start automaticly, if not then just press check. that will download all client files from server to your computer.

have you tried what i have suggested?

just create some new folder, open browser, download 2 files from those link i've send (C9Server.ini from sendspace and zipped launcher), save them into that new folder you have created. unzip launcher to that folder. you don't need to do anything with C9Server.ini after download. now you should have 3 files in folder. zip is not important from now so you can delete it if you want. it should look like this:

now open launcher, Library Load Failer error will pop up so just clik OK, enter your id and pass into appropriate fields and press login. it should start downloading latest client from server automaticly. in case it will not start downloading (i doubt it), just press check in launcher.

i'm starting to think you are joking me. if not, then read that quote above at least 10 times. in shortcut, i've said (not just one). create folder, download 2 files there, extract zip (which you can delete after that, i mean zip), run launcher, click ok at error message, log in, wait for download. if it's not downloading, press check.

in 2nd shortcut, all you need to have in that folder is NOT zipped launcher and c9server.ini. then run launcher and log in

my very last post about this, since you're definitely joking me:

first or all, if you're reading anything, you NEED to read word by word, from first to last, from left to right and up to down, without skipping words or rearranging.

if you can read, and you understand english (yeah, i'm far from perfect and my english is not good but i believe it's still intelligible), it must work.

but to topic. you need that ini file untouched, otherwise you'll get that error message "failed to read the patcher notes"

so now forget about deleting, just don't do that. and don't edit, open or anything with ini file.

1) open folder where you've downloaded zip and ini file

2) extract zip file. now you have there zip, ini and exe. 3 files.

3) run C9Launcher.exe, if error message pop up, click OK.

4) log in. patcher should start downloading. if not, press check button.

5) if there will be some other problem with patcher, run it as admin.

Are you using any kind of download program when downloading the client? The file is corrupt so whatever programs you use to open it will not help and you need the Setup.exe file to install the game.

Replace the old launcher with this 1, and it should solve your problem. Dont need to install webzen hub .

I have the problem with webzen auto installer. After i downloaded the game, i went to webzen  and log in, but i couldn't start. It keep saying that i need to install the webzen auto installer. Even though i press download and restart when the pop up ccame up. Please help.

Decided to try out C9, installed everything, seemd all would work. launched game after doing everbit of prelaunch setup that revealed itself, and got this error on a black screen of dissapointment:

"Not Found File [tooltip_Fire.dds]"

what do i do. tell me before i crash for the night preferably.

Hello guys, im new here... i used the direct download to get the files, and all i got is c9 setup (.exe), c9 setup 1 (.bin), c9 setup 2 (.bin), c9 setup 3 (.bin).... i runned the .exe file, and the installation started, i never had nny error till here, but than once i open the game i get those errors:

Press the "Check" button on lower right of launcher. If files are missing it should download them.

Hi, i am having trouble extracting the files after downloading from torrent. I have downloaded the recent client/files. I have also downloaded from direct download link but the same thing has happened.

When i extract the files which i have tried about 5-10times it says that the file is corrupt. I extracted Setup 1 and it worked after a few tries. But then i decided to overide it and get all 3 to work but that didn't happen and now i have lost the setup 1 which worked lol.

Hmm well when i install the game it goes like that 

it start the installation and then on the first file it says 

"C:\Program files\WEBZEN\C9\C9.exe.

An error occurred while trying to copy a file:

the source file is corrupted.

click retry to try again, ignore to skip this file (not recommended), or abort to cancel installation."

and i trying to retry doesn't help also tried ignore but it keep saying that the other files are corrupted too and i downloaded the game like 3 times and it keeps doing the same problem.

so i hope you'll know a way to help me becuase i really wanna play...

   I downloaded the file two times by torrent and every time when i tried to extract it it was corrupt.I tried alot of zip repairing programs but none worked.

   But i've found a way to fix it without downloading it again. Go to http://www.7-zip.org/download.html, Install 7z and extract the archive with it. It worked for me and should probably work for some of u too

I have windows 8 64-bit.

i download and installed the game and the web gamestart.

When i push gamestart on the website, an error pops up. 

Saying that i need to install the game first?

I have been having troubles downloading this game and i would probably attribute that to my incredible lack of knowledge when downloading and starting up games, dispite my love of gaming in general. Did you download the client through the Torrent or the batch files? I just want to make sure there is no problem with the download links because most of the errors you can encounter while installing or first time patching is due to corrupted files because of download interruptions.

I downloaded the installer C9_US.exe and all of the buttons ("Browse", "download", web links, etc .) are all non-responsive.

I launched the program as administrator on my Windows 7 64-bit professional edition.

I have this error :

Hello everybody, well I downloaded the game and the files from webzen, I use à 32 bits browser but I have some problems : first the "play" button on the site doesn't work, when I clic it, it tells me that I must download the game.

Then when I try to use the launcher, I can't login, it tells me " an unexpected erro occured. please try again later." So I tried qwertyQQ solution wich removed this problem with his launcher (mine still doesn't work) but even when I'm logged in, I can't press "start" or "check" and there no automatic patching (look to the qwertyQQ's topic on page 7)

Last, I can connect to Webzen but not to gpotatoe, it tells me that my ID is no allowed

any solution please ? ^^

You didn't downloaded the client from WEBZEN! You downloaded it from gPotato!

But to your problem:
You have to install the client as admin. Then you have to run the browser as admin.
Else the browser can't find the installed browser because it's installed under an other user.

Or disable the User Account Control.

I have a problem for corrupted file.

I downloaded file from gamershell (webzen's partner). I'm using torrent (use qbittorrent) and finished it. There is no problem until I was extracting it. bin 1 and 3 seem corrupted. I tick some option in winrar to force extract file even it is error. Then i run setup but then I abort it since there is too many important files need to be ignored.

I reluctant to try webzen link since it's not resumable. I've tried it using IDM and stopped at 50%.. make me upset a whole day.

from earlier post, you posted link for OBT client. Is it interchangeable with full version?

If not, I hope.. really really hope you may give me some links to download (direct download) for part 1 and 3 only and it's resumable.

I seem to be having a problem with the installation process:

I got through the main installation (with the blue screen) and now have the smaller

installation window, but whenever i click the "I Agree-Install" Box an error that says

" Server Connection error. So... er are unable to reach The Webzen Hub's servers. Please check your internet connection and try again." In which I have disconnected/reconnected from my internet and tried again, and with no avail. It just shows up again.

I'm not entirely sure if this is a problem on my end as it has been happening with any game I have tried to download today, but I just want to know if there is any way to fix this.

when i am installing the game, there is a file that cannot be extracted (c9\character\chr_pc\pw\pw_item\pw02\pw02.cfs) they a note asks me ignore- abort - retry, when i press retry the setup is resumed but with no progress ( still parsing pw02) then i just waited forever and nothing happened yet, please help.

I already install the game and I use the GM's torrent.
