Scythe of Rondant Descendant and Flashfire are not the same weapon type, you cannot remodel your Scythe to a Staff.

that's a level 48 [R] Remodeling Greatsword.

ok just a quick tip on how you guys can view a remodeling item without you spending and crafting and realising it wasn't the remodeling item you were aiming for.

for the metalworking artisan 

*open the artisan window and go to metalworking tab.

*on the dropdown box open metal products. this is where you can view all the remodelng items for fighters, witchblades, shaman and hunters that requires metal.

*now hold the Alt key then left click on your desired remodeling item.

*a new window will open to preview the remodelng item how it will look like on your character.

~same command also apply to woodworking artisan.

For non-remodelling artisan

*go to the trade officer and type on the rearch box <Class> - Remodeling (e.g. Shaman - Remodeling)

*it will display all the remodeling items you wish to buy in the trade office under the shaman class

*still do the Alt + left click and it will preview the remodeling items you wish to craft.

Flashfire maybe says "Staff", but it's a Scythe.
It's the Lvl 42 Unique Scythe.
